Tobacco selection: A characteristic English mixture. A mixture developed from mellow Georgian Virginias, Black Cavendish, Mexican Burleys and Cyprus Latakia a classic.

Tobacco Flavor/Aroma: Non-aromatic, with a range from mild to medium strength.
G&H BLACK IRISH X (ROPE)
All of our the tobacco varieties are manufactured by the same spinning process using dark fired wrapper leaves, with a filler of predominately dark fired leaf with a small percentage of dark air-cured Indian leaf. This combination results in a very strong tobacco. The Black Irish X undergoes an additional cooking process under pressure which removes some of the stronger tar and nicotine elements which makes for a smoother cooler smoke. While not as strong as the Brown Irish X and it's flavored cousins it is still a very strong tobacco. Not for the faint hearted.
G&H BROWN BOGIE
This is a twist made from the same ingredients as the Black and Brown Irish X but in a smaller diameter rope (called a "Pigtail"). Once again this is a very strong tobacco, and is the basis for the "Curly Cut" sliced rope tobacco.
G&H SWEET RUM TWIST
This is a twist made from the same ingredients as the Black and Brown Irish X. It has additional Rum flavoring added during manufacture. Again, this is a very strong tobacco as it does not undergo the pressure cooking process.
G&H BLACK CHERRY TWIST
This is a twist made from the same ingredients as the Brown Irish X. It has additional Black Cherry flavoring added during manufacture.
G&H BROWN IRISH X
Made with the same ingredients as the Black Irish X, the brown comes straight off the spinning machine without any additional processing. The absence of the pressure and heating process means this tobacco retains all of it's strength.
